The Polar Star has guided seafarers across the endless seas for centuries – we alluded to its clear bright mark by designing a small sphere-shaped wall lamp, and named it Polaris in its honour.

The lampshade was made by local Polish craftsmen from hand-blown, three-layer opal glass. The solid brass fixture evokes round portholes – the characteristic windows of ships. The lamp is available in two versions: brushed brass with a slight patina and nickel.

Polaris is a wall lamp inspired by the history of the MS Batory, Poland’s most beautiful ocean liner. The lamp refers to its magnificent interior, designed in the art déco style by excellent Polish artists. Polaris is a classic proposal that blends perfectly with other lampshade shapes and, despite its small size, shines brightly and confidently – just like the Polar Star.
