Description

From Gdynia to New York, and on the way, exquisite dinners and social evenings in art-deco style interiors. The Atlantic wall lamp refers to the route of the MS Batory ship, known as a floating salon and an embassy of Polish culture. Inspired by the sweeping circles of water, the lampshade was made of three-layer opal glass to our design by local craftsmen. Its wavy pattern is visible not only when the light is on, but also when it is turned off. The solid brass fitting refers to the characteristic shape of the windows on a ship, called portholes.

There is nothing left of the MS Batory today – it was sold to a scrap yard in the 1970s. Just like the circles on the water, which disappear forever after a while. However, there is a way to keep them in time. We designed the Atlantic lamp by looking through photos and reading the history of this unusual ship. The wall lamp is small, but impresses with its refined details. With its geometric, soft shape, it introduces a delicate, romantic art déco atmosphere.

Suitable for wall and ceiling mounting, the lamp is available in brass and nickel finishes.
