From Gdynia to New York, and on the way exquisite dinners and social evenings in stunning Art Deco interiors. The Atlantic wall lamp refers to the route of the MS Batory ship, called a floating salon and embassy of Polish culture. Inspired by the spreading circles of water, the lampshade is made of three-layer opal glass according to our design by local craftsmen. Its wavy pattern is visible not only when the light is on, but also when it is off. The solid brass mounting refers to the characteristic shape of the ship’s windows, called portholes.
The lamp is available in two finishes: brushed brass and nickel. Today, nothing remains of the MS Batory ship – it was sold to a scrap shipyard in the 1970s. Just like circles on water that disappear forever after a while. However, there is a way to stop them in time. We designed the Atlantic lamp by looking through photos and reading the history of this extraordinary ship. The wall lamp is small, but delights with refined details. With its geometric, soft shape, it introduces a delicate, romantic Art Deco atmosphere.
