The Muses as patronesses of art and confidants of inspiration seemed to us the most appropriate choice. Their mystery, subtlety and charisma can be seen in the shape we decided to give to the lampshades made of alabaster – a unique stone that looks like ancient marble and is characterized by its ability to transmit light. The collection is based on two shapes of lampshades and features single charming pendant lamps, exquisite wall lamps and majestic chandeliers. Each of the designs is a combination of alabaster with golden, precious natural brass details – a unique flashback to the days when divine gold and creamy white gemstones were the eighth wonder of the world.
The Calliope lamp evokes the magic of the moment, sensuality and a touch of mystery. Together with unusually soft light, it envelops the space with a reflective aura, setting a calming mood. The slightly spherical, delicately carved alabaster lampshade is topped with a natural brass lid, which will acquire a charming patina over time. The combination of alabaster and gold accents makes Calliope a sophisticated yet very subtle light.
Each night, the moon goddess travels across the sky on a luminous chariot harnessed to white horses. She rises from the waves of Okeanos in the East and plunges into them again in the West. Her wanderings across the starry firmament provided the inspiration for a design that captures the beauty of lunar nights.
